Both Quayside Cottage & Petrocstowe are within a short walk of the South West Coast path and the Camel Trail (a popular 17 mile off road cycle path which follows the River Camel to Bodmin and on to Poleys Bridge)
 
There are numerous beautiful sandy beaches with a five to ten minute drive of Padstow, many of which have lifeguard supervision from May to September

Padstow itself lies on the Camel Estuary, about seven miles from Wadebridge. The area naturally beautiful with beautiful bays, golden beaches and many interesting walks, particularly along the Coastal Footpath
